Summit currently operates a large capacity, high speed CNC machining department, producing high quality moulds, patterns, jigs, fixtures and prototype parts. This facility is constantly being updated to ensure Summit can offer the widest range of services possible to its customers which include:

- 5 axis Machine, Complex 5 axis machining undercuts and compound holes
- Shop floor CNC programming
- Delcam’s powerMILL software
- Automatic tool changing
- 24 hour production
- Full DNC linking to all CAD/CAM seats
- Secure data transfer FTP
Mould Tooling
- Prototype, rapid and production moulding
- All moulds fully designed in house to customer’s specification
- Mould manufactured in polystyrene, resin tooling boards, aluminium billet, cast ferrous and non-ferrous metals, and hardened tool steels
- Moulds can be cast or fully machined
- Experience and expertise in: vac form moulds, GRP and carbon fibre lay-up patterns an moulds, hand lay moulds, foundry tooling, pre-form moulds S-rim moulds, vac/rim moulds, polyurethane foam moulds, resin transfer moulds, composite moulds,
- On site commissioning of all mould tooling
- Full modification, repair, maintenance and support service
